YOUR ACCOUNT & DATA

Delete your account
and data.

You can delete your Stream Together profile from within the app. Removing your profile and removing your past chat messages are separate steps.

  1. Open Stream Together.

Open the app on your iPhone and go to its Settings screen.

  2. Use the profile deletion option.

In Settings, choose the option to delete your profile and follow the instructions shown in the app. This removes your profile, handle claim, presence, and friend connections.

This does not retroactively remove chat messages you have already sent to rooms.

  3. Ask us to remove your chat messages.

To have your chat messages removed as well, email [email protected] and say that you want your Stream Together data, including chat messages, deleted. Support can help identify the records that belong to you.

You can also contact this address if you cannot access the app. The privacy policy says requests will receive a response within 30 days.

What about records created by other people?

Records written by other people that merely reference your identifier — such as a block or a report someone filed about you — belong to them, not to you. Deleting your own profile does not mean those records are yours to delete.

Deleting the app is a separate action.

CloudKit records persist until they are deleted. To remove your data, use the steps above; uninstalling the app alone is not a request to delete your CloudKit records.
