Open Netflix or Prime Video inside the app. Each person signs in to their own paid account with the provider.

Create a room and share its code or invite link. Find friends by their @handle and keep your watch party to the people you invite.

The host’s play, pause, and seek keep everyone in sync. Chat alongside the picture, with @mentions for your friends.

    Profiles, friends, shared rooms, and chat use Apple CloudKit. Without iCloud, you get a room code and a local session.

    Bring a friend and an invite. There’s no public room browsing.

You watch from the source.

Stream Together contains no video content. It never hosts, records, proxies, or redistributes it, and does not circumvent DRM. No audio or video passes between users. Every person watches independently, directly from their provider.

Social data is stored in Apple CloudKit’s public database. Profiles and chat are readable by other users and the developer; they are not confidential.
